1. How quickly can I expect my résumé once you get started?

Typical turnaround is determined on a case by case basis and you will be provided a timeframe with our quote. Final delivery is typically a week from the time I have all necessary information. Rush résumés can be accommodated for a nominal fee. Contact me for details.



2. Do you use a standard template and basic questions to collect information?

No. You have enough to do without having to do my work for me too. I make this as easy as possible for you and compile the bulk of the information I need through phone interviews and reviews. Let’s talk, email, or chat and I will show you how stress-free this process can be.



3. Can I provide feedback and direction on how my résumé is written?

Please do! This is a client led process and I would like you to be engaged every step of the way. I value your suggestions, ideas, and feedback. After all, I am writing about YOU. It is important that I get your input early and often, if possible, in the process. 



4. So I’ll work directly with you?

You’ll work directly with me, Sara. I am based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in Texas but have experience drafting résumés for clients as far away as Fiji.

6. What if I don’t have a résumé?

Then you need one! It’s really not an option anymore. I can start from scratch. Let’s talk about where you’ve been and where you’d like to go. With this information, I will draft a working résumé that we will collaborate to complete.



7. How are edits and changes handled?

Revisions are unlimited.* A great résumé is the result of effective collaboration so I do not limit or charge extra for editing.



8. What about file formats?

Your final résumé will be sent in Word and PDF versions.



9. Do you guarantee that I'll find a job with the résumé you create for me?

No, I cannot make that guarantee, and beware any résumé writer who does.

 

I DO guarantee that I will create a résumé that effectively highlights your skills and accomplishments, is perfectly formatted and will attract the attention of hiring managers. My role is to create a professional résumé for you to secure interviews. The rest is up to you!

I can confidently offer this guarantee based upon more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, a high rate of repeat and referral clients, and hundreds of job seekers who have secured interviews. 10. What if I can’t find the résumé you created for me or my computer crashes?

I will also keep your résumé on file permanently unless you request I do not. This ensures you have access to it at any time from anywhere.



11. What about updates in the future?

Maintaining a copy of your latest résumé also ensures updates are quick and cost effective. Minor updates are $25-$50, more involved updates run roughly half the cost of the original resume. Contact me for details.



12. How do I make payment? Are credit cards accepted?

I accept PayPal, PayPal Here, Chase QuickPay, and Square Cash for payments. Please let me know if alternate arrangements are necessary. 



13. Any tips on jump-starting my job search?

Yes! Indeed.com. One of the best job-search sites I know. It compiles all the information from all the major job sites for you.
